About Us

Hi, I'm Maria, the founder of Beso Fresco.

I was born in Mexico and raised in California, but my family's roots are proudly planted in Chavinda, Michoacán.  The vibrant flavors and colorful traditions I grew up with have always stayed with me. As a kid, I loved drinking aguas frescas and enjoying a paleta on warm afternoons. Those memories inspired me to create Beso Fresco.

What makes this journey even more special is that I'm building this dream alongside my "mini me," my daughter, Natalia. Together, we're creating more than handcrafted lip balms; we're building a family business rooted in love, creativity, and the hope of passing something meaningful from one generation to the next.

Every lip balm is handcrafted in small batches using premium ingredients because I believe everyday products should feel a little more special. From Flor de Jamaica to Sol de Tamarindo and Besito de Abuela, each flavor is inspired by the tastes, traditions, and culture that have shaped my life and celebrates the joy of sharing them with others.

I hope that every time you use a Beso Fresco lip balm, it brings a smile, sparks a cherished memory, or introduces you to a little piece of the heritage that inspires everything we create.
